PERMASCAN-C FEATURES

The PermaScan-C is a continuously monitored moisture detection system for conventional roof assemblies (ie. TPO, PVC, EPDM, SBS Mod Bit).  The system is installed in a grid-like pattern on the vapor barrier and must be covered with a minimum 2″ insulation overlay.

PERMASCAN-I FEATURES

The PermaScan-I is a continuously monitored breach detection system for inverted waterproofing (ie. hot/cold fluid coatings).  The system is installed in a grid-like pattern on top of the membrane.  The system must be covered with filter fabric, 6 mil plastic sheeting and a minimum 2″ insulation overlay.

A PermaScan System may also be referred to as a leak location grid or a leak locate array.  The electronic components for the system are the DX250 and RMUIII.
