IntegriScan Electronic Leak Detection Testing Equipment
A low voltage quality control testing method for roofing and waterproofing membranes. The equipment will pinpoint the location of holes, breaches and seam voids in horizontal and vertical surfaces. The IntegriScan complies with ASTM Guide D7877, is the basis for ASTM Practice D8231, and is the only FM Approved ELD testing method. It is also the only testing method capable of testing semi-conductive membranes such as black EPDM or coatings containing carbon black. As with all Electronic Leak Detection (ELD) testing methods, a conductive substrate such as structural concrete, metal or TruGround must be present DIRECTLY under the membrane for a valid electronic test.
TruGround® Conductive Primer
A water based conductive medium that can be added during construction to a non conductive substrate such as coverboard, insulation, wood and light weight concrete. A conductive substrate is required directly below the membrane for a valid ELD test. TruGround is UL listed and FM approved.
TruGround® Continuity Tester (TCT)
After TruGround has been applied, continuity should be confirmed to ensure the TruGround is continuous. The TCT can be used to confirm the continuity of TruGround from board to board.
